REINFORCED SILICONE PRESSURE HOSE


General Characteristics

Standard construction hose has a 70 ShA natural translucent silicone rubber inner hose, a braided polyester multi-filament yarn reinforcement and a 60 ShA silicone rubber top coating (natural translucent or blue). Suitable for continuous operation at temperatures from -80 to 300oF (-60 to 150oC) and for intermittent exposure up to 350oF (180oC). No harmful toxic or physiological effects. Chemically extremely stable and suitable for use with many acids and alkalis. Resistant to ozone, UV and corona discharge.

Elastomers used for standard translucent and blue hose comply with FDA 21 CFR 177-2600.

Availability

  • Standard construction hose is normally available from stock in natural translucent material in the sizes and coil lengths listed. May also be available from stock or on short lead-time in blue.

  • Minimum order per item - 1 coil.

Alternative constructions available subject to minimum order:

  • Special sizes with inside diameter from 0.063 inch (1.6mm) to 2 inch (51mm)

  • Alternative coil lengths and cut pieces

  • Alternative colors

  • Thin wall permeable hose for diffusion membranes

  • Alternative durometer hardness for hose wall and top coating

  • USP Class VI compliant elastomer for medical and pharmaceutical equipment applications
