Ipotec is the exclusive North American sales agent and distributor for products made with Dispersed Fiber Technology (DFT^TM) by Metflex Precision Rubber Components Ltd, located in the United Kingdom.

DFT has been developed by Metflex as a revolutionary new production technology for thin, reinforced rubber diaphragms. Small reinforcing fibers are dispersed throughout the rubber matrix in place of the single fabric layer traditionally used in such applications.

When compared with traditional fabric reinforced diaphragms, DFT may offer the following advantages:
