C-I-P PIPE REPAIR HOSE

General Characteristics

A high temperature silicone elastomer reinforced with polyester fabric for use with cured-in-place pipe repair systems. The hose can be inflated with hot water or steam against the repair liner, which is impregnated with resin. The resin cures under the influence of heat to repair the damaged pipe wall and the hose is then withdrawn from the pipe.

Silicone C-I-P hose has several advantages compared with other hose materials:

Suitable for use at temperatures up to 300^oF (150^oC) - see material properties
Can be used with steam for rapid cure cycle
Hoses can be reused many times because of good resistance to abrasion and high temperatures
Flexible and expands under pressure to conform to pipe bends and joints
Leaves smooth finish to repaired pipe
T and Y sections can be fabricated in the same material for repairing pipe branches

Availability

Available to suit all standard pipe sizes from 4 inch (102mm) to 40 inch (1016mm) diameter. The nominal hose diameter is typically 10-15% smaller than the pipe size.
Supplied in standard lengths of 100ft (30m) to 650ft (200m) depending on size.
Standard color is blue but other colors are available on request
